This section will assist parents in learning more about educational opportunities available in RI. We have provided links to resources for the Providence Public School system, along with information from the Rhode Island Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (RIDE).

The link to Information Works 2008 lists information from RIDE such as school reports, district reports, and state reports that includes charts, graphs, tables, curriculum and instruction resources, and school performance comparisons. The information is broken down by elementary, middle, and high schools. This site functions as a state report card on schools.

Note: One thing to keep in mind is that certain private schools have application and waitlist policies and procedures. If you are interested in a private school for your child, please call that school to find out about their application process and deadlines.
