Suicide Prevention Information and Resources for Educators (SPIRE)
Mission
The Suicide Prevention Information and Resources for Educators (SPIRE) website provides educational resources for schools, hospitals, and the community regarding risk factors for suicide, screening tools and prevention interventions. The website is designed to provide educators and health professionals access to resources focused on suicide prevention. Content is organized by target audience, topic, and resource type. We hope the SPIRE website will encourage educational efforts regarding suicide as a preventable public health problem.

The SPIRE website contains educational materials for varied target learners. Because of continual changes and advances in materials, this website does not provide an exhaustive listing of all suicide prevention materials to educators. The goal of SPIRE is to provide resources for educators who wish to incorporate didactic materials on the subject of suicide prevention into their teaching. Every effort will be made to keep links and resources current. To help us in this objective, please report any broken or missing links by clicking here. If you have suggestions for additional materials for inclusion, please e-mail us at SPIRE@brown.edu."
