Biography

Laura Whiteley, M.D., is an adult, child and adolescent psychiatrist. She completed her adult psychiatry residency at Butler Hospital and her child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship and a T32 NIMH research fellowship at Bradley Hospital and Rhode Island Hospital.

Laura is the Director of the College Mental Health Program in the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Rhode Island Hospital. This clinical program provides comprehensive psychiatric treatment to college and graduate students from area schools.

Laura Whiteley's research interests include the study and utilization of the Internet and online games for behavior change, HIV prevention, and improved treatment adherence.
