Research includes clinical protocol development in gastrointestinal malignancies and translational research in colorectal cancer.
Research Description
As a junior faculty member under the mentorship of Dr Howard Safran, I have become an active member of the national cooperative group, RTOG Gastrointestinal Malignancy Section. I currently act as the RTOG representative for the NCI Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor Task Force.
Under the mentorship of Dr Peter Quesenberry I have developed a translational project analyzing the Geographic Heterogeneity of Colorectal Cancer utilizing the WAVE technology and Imaging Mass Spectrometry.
