Biography

Dr. Spencer is a clinical neuropsychologist whose clinical interests include the assessment of dementia and cognitive deficits in psychiatric populations, particularly veterans with histories of PTSD, substance dependence, and mood disorders. She is also actively involved in a multidisciplinary polytrauma/TBI clinic assessing brain injury among returning OIF/OEF veterans. Dr. Spencer also serves as chair of the RI Psychological Association's Colleague Assistance Committee and co-chair of the Providence VA Medical Center's dementia committee. She also currently a member of the clinical psychology training program admissions committee (neuropsychology track).
