Biography

Dr. Kurkjian has trained psychology interns, post-doctoral fellows and psychiatry residents in the DPHB since 1991. She is the past recipient of the Brown University Clinical Psychology Internship Outstanding Teaching Award and the Brown Medical School Excellence in Teaching Award. Dr. Kurkjian's clinical and professional interests include Individual and group treatment of addictive behavior, smoking cessation interventions, hospital-based program development, and ethical issues in clinical practice.
