Bioengineering Laboratory - Education

The educational mission of the lab covers:
1) Basic Science Resident Education
2) Resident Projects
3) Medical Student Projects
4) Undergraduate Engineering Courses
5) Undergraduate Special Investigations
6) Graduate Student Projects/Thesis
7) Summer internships.

Basic Science Resident Education
The lab provides instruction to the Orthopaedic resident in the area of orthopaedic biomechanics as part of their Basic Science curriculum. This typically entails three lectures per year.

Undergraduate Engineering
Lab faculty have taught EN121 (1997); Solids Biomechanics, EN194S03 (1996); Biomechanics, EN121 (1995); EN2980 (2007).  Each semester the lab also supports engineering students enrolled in a special investigation course for design/research: EN195 and EN196.
