Dr. Terek's Professional Papers

Dr. Terek received his B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, his M.A. at the University of Chicago, and his M.D. in from the Pritzker School of Medicine. He completed an internship and orthopaedic residency at Loyola University. During his residency, he studied the molecular biology of fracture healing at the National Institutes of Health. He completed fellowships in Orthopaedic Oncology from the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and in Metabolic Bone Disease Fellowship from the Hospital for Special Surgery. Dr. Terek's clinical practice is devoted to musculoskeletal oncology and adult reconstruction. His laboratory research is focused on the molecular genetics of chondrosarcoma. Dr. Terek was a recipient of the AOA Austria-Swiss-German traveling fellowship and is a member of the research committee of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
