The research interest of our laboratory is to understand immune responses against murine cytomegalovirus (MCMV) and lymphocytic choriomeningitis virus
(LCMV) using mouse models. NK cells are central to the innate immune response to MCMV infection. I am currently investigating the roles of a NK cell receptor, Ly49H, in both antiviral and immunoregulatory functions of NK cells during MCMV infection.
