For Newly Hired (or Reappointed) Postdocs
All newly hired Postdocs MUST review ALL documents below. (**Postdocs being reappointed MUST re-review)
- Faculty Rules & Regulations**
ALL postdocs MUST familiarize them-selves with relevant sections of this document. - Patent Policy** - Please read; your department has given you a copy with your appointment/re-appointment letter
- Harrassment Policy** (Section 1 Only) - Please read; your department has given you a copy with your appointment/ reappointment letter.
- Conflict of Interest Policy**- Please read; your department has given you a copy with your appointment/reappointent letter.
- New Postdocs must "I-9" prior to or on the first day of work. The Acceptable Document List indicates which documents you will need to bring to complete the I-9 process. Postdocs may pre-fill out Section 1 of the Eligibility Form, and/or the Brown Personnel Data Form. You must call 863-1614 (or 863-3281) to make an appointment with the Postdoc Program Manager so she will be available to assist you and go over paperwork.
- BioMed postdocs are expected to understand and practice Responsible Conduct in Research (guidelines and training offered).
- After you I'9 at Postdoctoral Studies, and prior to beginning your first day at Brown, you should check in with the following offices.
