Brown BioCareer Resources
The Office of Graduate and Postdoc Studies is pleased to announce that Brown's Division of Biology and Medicine has recently joined the BioCareer Center, a consortium of leading schools including Stanford, Vanderbilt, UPenn, and over a dozen other research institutions. The Bio Career Center has over 1400 U.S. listings for Life Science PhDs. Postgraduates, and MDs.
This career website lists career resources, provides a large section on career paths in academics and government resources, and a section on exploring options across a broad range of paths. There are sections for a job search, jobs board, featured jobs, jobs marketplace, search basics, and skill building. Only Alumni, Postdocs, and students from Consortium Schools may use the Jobs Board.
In addition to this website providing resources and services to postdocs and graduate students, the Bio Career Center also runs an internal PhD and alumni job board for Brown and half of the top 20 PhD graduate schools, which enables Departments to POST positions here as well.
