Biography

Ana Tuya Fulton, MD
Assistant Professor of Medicine
Chief of Medicine, Butler Hospital
Completed her internal medicine residency, chief residency, and geriatric fellowship at Brown University after graduating from The George Washington University School of Medicine. Currently, she is Chief of Medicine at Butler Hospital and an assistant professor of Medicine and a member of the Division of Geriatrics at Brown University. Her interests include end of life care, improving transitions of care for older adults, and improving quality of care for patients with advanced cognitive impairment.

Awards

Haffenreffer Fellow 2005

Geriatric Academic Career Award (GACA) from HRSA awarded 9/07. Three year funding for academic geriatricians.

Futures Program Participant for the 2006 American Medical Directors Association (AMDA) Annual Meeting 2006

Recommended for Invited Fellowship to American College of Physicians. Elected a Fellow of the College March 1, 2011
