Support Services

BioMed Support Services is comprised of the BioMed Mailroom, BioMed Information Desks and BioMed Copier Services.

The BioMed Mailroom is located on the second floor of the BioMed Center and is responsible for the timely delivery of correspondence and bulk mail. The Mailroom staff delivers to seven on-campus and two off-campus buildings and sorts off-campus mail for pickup by eight Brown-affiliated hospitals. The Mailroom also offers the pickup and transport of express mail packages to and from the University drop-off point for its customers.

The BioMed Information Desks are located at the BioMed Center and at 70 Ship Street, also known as the Laboratories for Molecular Medicine. The Information Desk staff are a resource for Brown-affiliated individuals and a registration point for visitors to their respective buildings.

BioMed Copier Services provides good quality copying services to the Division at a competitive rate. Copier Services maintains six professional-quality self-service copiers, which are available for the BioMed community to use for small copying jobs. You can find these copiers in the BioMed Center on the 2nd floor, 70 Ship Street on the 1st and 3rd floors and Arnold Lab on the 2nd and 3rd floors.
