Card Access and Key Control
The BioMed Facilities Planning and Operations (FPO) office administers all key and card access control for the Division of Biology and Medicine and is the principal location for requesting card access, picking up keys and returning keys. FPO works in partnership with the Department of Public Safety to oversee security within the Division's facilities.
Individuals can request key or card access to facilities within the Division by following their department's respective protocols. They should contact their center or department manager for further information.
All keys are signed out through the FPO office. To protect the security of Division spaces, a key or access card should be used only by the person authorized to possess the key - a key or access card should never be loaned out. When a key is no longer required, it must be returned to the FPO office.
