Seminar Series
The Rhode Island Center for Clinical and Translational Sciences offers quarterly seminars in clinical and translational research. The seminars are intended to increase clinical and translational research collaborations throughout Rhode Island by bringing together individuals from a diverse array of disciplines and institutions. These seminars provide a wonderful opportunity to become more familiar with clinical and translational research efforts, both nationally and in your own backyard!
These seminars are offered in the four thematic areas that correspond to the collaboratories:
- Community- and Population-based Health;
- Emerging Technologies;
- Gene-Environment Interactions; and
- Global Health.
The general format of each seminar includes a presentation by a local or nationally recognized leader in clinical and translational research, followed by a networking reception.
