Biomedical Advancement - Communications

Communications

The Communications Office oversees and advises on communications for the development, alumni, and external relations functions of the Office of Biomedical Advancement, and administers a program of print and electronic communications on behalf of Alpert Medical School and the Division of Biology and Medicine. This oversight includes the visual identity systems of the Division.

Key publications produced by this office include Brown Medicine, the alumni magazine of Alpert Medical School, No Limits, the annual report of the Division of Biology and Medicine, and Boldly Biomed, the Campaign for Academic Enrichment case statement for biology and medicine. The Office also oversees and provides content and design support for the Division's websites.

Director of Biomedical Advancement Communications
Kris Cambra
Kris oversees all print and web communications for Biomed Advancement and is the editor of Alpert Medical School's alumni magazine, Brown Medicine. She is responsible for establishing and maintaining the Division's visual identity and works closely with the Dean of the Division's office on key collateral, such as the annual report and admissions viewbook. She has been with the Advancement office since May 2001.

Assistant Director of Biomedical Advancement Communications
Phoebe Hall
Phoebe joined the Office of Biomedical Advancement as assistant director of biomedical advancement communications in January 2013. She serves as writer and editor of all biomed advancement publications, including the Division of Biology and Medicine's annual report, and is staff writer for Brown Medicine magazine.

Web Content Manager
O. Jumoke Akinrolabu Dumont
Jumoke joined the Biomedical Advancement team in summer 2004 as the communications project assistant.  In her current position as web content manager, she is responsible for creating, managing, and publishing content for the divisional website and its major components - the Program in Biology, Public Health Program, Alpert Medical School, and central administration.

Development Communications Manager
Kylah Klinge
Kylah drafts and coordinates written materials for fundraising, with emphasis on proposals in support of the priorities of Alpert Medical School, the Public Health Program, and the Program in Biology. She also writies and edits Divisional publications and website content. Kylah joined the team in August 2010.
