Cognitive
Content: Learning how to obtain a meaningful history, perform
a competent neurological examination along with principles of localization,
patho physiology, evaluation and management will be stressed, as well as
interpretation of imaging studies.
Prerequisites: Neuroscience 262
Criteria
for Passing: Adequate write-ups, presentations and discussions of
patients who were assigned and evaluated so judged by the residents and
attending neurologist.
Criteria
for Honors: Outstanding performance in areas mentioned above.

Independent Projects for Students:

Description: Student's primary activity will be evaluation of neurology
in patients on the ward service. Teaching will be primarily at the bedside, with some lectures
and attendance at Morning Report, Grand Rounds and Neuroradiology Conference.
