Type of Rotation:     Ambulatory

Cognitive Content:     Students will learn the fundamentals of ambulatory medicine from a Family Medicine perspective.

Prerequisites:     Clerkship in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

Criteria for Passing:     Students will demonstrate satisfactory performance in the following areas: clinical performance, charting, and videotaping.

Criteria for Honors:     Students will demonstrate outstanding performance in two of the following three areas and above average in the third area: clinical performance, charting, and videotaping.

Competencies:     Ability IV: advanced level, Ability IX: advanced level

Description:      Students will provide primary care for a panel of patients in an ambulatory setting under the supervision of experienced Family Medicine faculty.
