Duration of rotation: 2 weeks only

Type of rotation:        Ambulatory

Cognitive Content:    To perform physical exams, diagnosing, proposing treatment plans, cleaning wounds, suturing, assistant in surgery activities that are performed in the office, in the ER and in the OR.

Prerequisites:  Completion of Surgery core clerkship

Criteria for Honors:  Grading for elective is limited to Pass/Fail

Competencies:         Ability I: advanced level, Ability II: advanced level, Ability IV: advanced level
