Competencies: Ability V: Beginner Level, Ability VIII: Beginner or Intermediate Level; to earn abilities at the Intermediate Level the students may choose to write a final paper under the auspicious of Dr. Tom Bledsoe, Director of the Brown Center for Bio-Medical Ethics at an advanced level 19.

Description: Students from Brown and Tuebeingen will discuss ethical issues of medical practice from a comparative perspective. There will be small group discussions and group presentations on chosen topics. There will be an optional independent final paper on topic chosen by the student.
