Competencies: Ability I: advanced level, Ability II: advanced level, Ability IV: advanced level, Ability IX: advanced level

Criteria for Honors: Exceptional performance in all aspects of the clerkship

Description: The student is responsible for interviewing, examining, and presenting patients in an outpatient surgical practice. The student will develop an understanding of disease and its surgical and medical therapy for a wide variety of surgical pathology. The student will become competent in interviewing, examining, and presenting patients, as well as developing a sense of long-term patient care.
