Planned Independent Projects: Available at request of student and discretion of faculty

Prerequisites:Completion of 3 rd year Internal Medicine rotation

Criteria for Honors: Consistent ability to localize lesioins; ability to fully evaluate two new patients in a half day clinic OR clincial research project with a short (3-5 page) manuscript or a 20 minute lecture.

Competencies: Ability I: advanced level, Ability II: advanced level, Ability IV: advanced level, Ability IX: advanced level

Description: The student will evaluate neurology outpatients, write up history and exam, formulate a diagnostic and treatment plan and present to Drs. Chou or Friedman.
