Clerkship Rotations

All medical students are strongly encouraged to rotate in Orthopaedic electives in our department be they from Brown or another university. Clerkships are from two weeks to one month in length, on the Orthopaedic service at Rhode Island Hospital. Doing a clerkship is a great way for students to get to know our program and appreciate all that this program has to offer. It is also a great way for our program to get to know the students however, completing an elective with our department does not guarantee the student will be given an interview for a spot in our residency program. Research rotations are also available to students as part of their honors program in their undergraduate studies, and for students interested in obtaining their master's degree in Medical Science.

To arrange a clerkship please contact Lori Avallone .
