Research

The Fellow will have protected time for his/her research efforts. This time also includes the opportunity to research or learn surgical procedures in the department cadaver labs. The fellow will be requested to complete at least one supervised independent research project suitable for peer review publication. The Division maintains an active Sports research program under the direction of Braden Fleming, PhD and David Paller, MS with several Brown University undergraduates, medical students and residents undertaking projects concurrently. Ample support for supplies and equipment as well as technical support is available in both the Division's Laboratory as well as orthopaedic research laboratories in general.
