The Details
The salary is determined by level of training (PGY year) and in accordance with the Rhode Island Hospital Department of Graduate Medical Education. Additional compensation is available including, but not limited to, health, dental, life insurance and disability insurance. The fellow is allowed to attend either the annual meeting of the Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA) or the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM). The fellowship year is from August 1 to July 31 of the following year. Two weeks of vacation are provided (not including the meeting trip) and some flexibility is available should job interview requirements arise.
Our next application enrollment period will be for the academic year August 2014 through July 2015.
Applications will be accepted beginning September 1, 2012 and deadline for submission is December 1, 2012.
Sports Medicine Fellowship Application Process:
Application to the Sports Medicine Fellowship will be through the AOSSM Match.

Interviews will be held on Monday, February 11, 2013 in Providence, RI. Interviews are coordinated with the other New England Fellowship programs.
Interviews will also be held during the annual AAOS meeting in Chicago, Illinois (March 2013).
