The RIH Orthopaedic Foundation, Inc. offers official compliance testing for women's lacrosse sticks. We are the authorized testing laboratory for the International Federation of Women's Lacrosse Associations (IFWLA) and US Lacrosse, Women's Division (USLax).We test both goalkeeper and field player crosses to the current IFWLA Field Crosse Specification Rule 3 and the current USLax Official Rules for Girls and Women's Lacrosse.
For research, we are working with the NCAA and lacrosse ball manufacturers to assess the current ball standard. We are determining the applicability of measuring the compressability and high-speed performance of lacrosse balls.
