Internship Research,
Laboratory for Soft Tissue Research, Hospital for Special Surgery, New York.

· Study in-vivo knee forces after total knee replacement.

· Study the effect of design changes on wear performance in total knee implant.

· Assist in conducting experiments of articular cartilage under single impact load.

· Studied locked and unlocked plating in internal fixation of bones.

· Analyze mechanical response of articular cartilage in impact loading experiments.

· Assist in statistical analysis and data analysis of several projects in the lab.

· Work with physicians, scientists, and engineers and help develop different experiments.

2001 to 2003

Learneded about design, function and trouble shooting of EKG, MRI, X-Ray, and anesthesia device.

Design Project
Designed pneumatic slide machine using PRO-E software to study the effect of sliding on damaged articular cartilage.
Designed locked and unlocked plates and screws to study the movement of the plates under different strains.

Spring 2003

Directed two projects that were given to students for their final grades at ISU (1. Wiring a house, 2. Building a microphone).
