Celebrating Environmental Sustainability In Healthcare
The Blue Wrap Blue Jean Ball is a celebration of glamour, entertainment, and environmental sustainability in Rhode Island Healthcare. The evening will feature sustainable awards ceremony to honor trailblazers in environmental sustainability in healthcare. Live entertainment will be presented by the local band "Bad Luck and Trouble", Leading Rhode Island chefs will prepare delicious food procured from local farmers and food distributers.
Attire: Wear your commitment to the earth. Walk the green runway and wear haute couture repurposed from blue wrap, or just wear your comfortable blue jeans. The best up cycled outfit will win free registration to CleanMed.
All ticket sales will go towards environmental sustainability education and training fund to benefit hospitals in Rhode Island.

The event is hosted by Hospitals for a Healthy Environment in Rhode Island (H2ERI), a coalition of hospitals, hospital associations, professional associations, nursing schools, unions, academic institutions, government agencies, local food groups, and environmental organizations. Over the past three years H2ERI has shown commitment in promoting cost-effective, efficient, healthy and sustainable green care practice in health care institutions throughout Rhode Island.
Bad Luck and Trouble is a 7 piece blues and jump blues band, together for 14 years. The band includes three RI firefighters and a RI paramedic.
