The faculty in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine teach undergraduates, medical and graduate students, residents, and fellows at Brown University. They have developed innovative courses, seminars, and case-based laboratories that are recognized annually by teaching awards. In the 2005-2006 academic year, 21 faculty were recipients of the Dean's Excellence in Teaching Awards for their medical student teaching.
